I have been a successful “Independent Retail Consultant” for the past 5 years primarily due to my 22 + years of experience working in the Retail Industry in various capacities which include positions at the home offices of companies, as well as “Store Operations” positions in the field which include being a Regional Vice-President of Retail Store Operations for a Fortune 500 company where I was responsible for a 10 state region that does in excess of $900M/Yr. in sales volume. Over the years, I have gained “Invaluable Relevant Sources Of Expertise” by having the privilege of developing strong bonds with former colleagues over the years who now work at the Home Offices, as well as out in the field for many of the companies I consult about. Gregory Anstett is currently the President and Owner of G.D.A. Retail Consultants, a company providing consulting services to the investment community. Mr. Anstett has been a successful ”Independent Retail Consultant,” working with clients based primarily in the investment community: Analysts at Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, Private Equity Firms, as well as Portfolio Managers. Mr. Anstett has a strong grasp of the industry through his relationships with several former colleagues that currently work for various retailers in the field and at the home office’s of their respective companies. As a member of the Executive Team, he reported to the Divisional President of Operations in Matthews, N.C. He is proficient in such areas as current and future market trends, purchasing, information systems, and competitor strategies within different sectors of the retail industry. Mr. Anstett has a keen sense of many companies since he was instrumental in producing extensive "case studies" on twelve different retail companies. He has 22+ years experience in the Discount & Dollar Store Retailing Industry. Prior to Family Dollar Stores, he was with Dollar General Stores Inc., as a District Manager for a three state territory. Mr. Anstett started out in the Retail Industry working for Wal-Mart Stores Inc. for ten years. He held various positions that included: General Store Manager for two high-volume Wal-Mart Stores, General Store Manager for a Super-Center that did in excess of $90M/year in sales volume, and also worked closely with the Corporate Human Resources Department in Bentonville, AR.
