ZipIt Inc. was established in 2005 by Mark Snedecor. Mark has over 19 years experience in the information systems industry, holding positions as a software developer, software test engineer, project manager, and QA director for several companies. His career in technology began after graduation from the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) with a B.S. in Physics, which furthered his inclinations for understanding how things work and how they can work better.
Mark's "day job" as a software consultant keeps him tethered to his cell phone, frequently while traveling in and out of airports. The need for privacy, blocking external noise, reducing ambient noise for the call receiver, as well as the need to be productive while in flight, sparked the idea for ZipIt devices.
