Currently, I am a consultant in marketing and strategy for the sports and political industries, having recently retired from a 30 year career as an attorney in private practice. While in privater practice, I focused my practice on corporate transactional matters, including
mergers and acquisitions, start-ups and venture funding with a particular
emphasis on the health and life sciences. I also had a significant practice
representing colleges and universities in contract and financing issues, technology transfer and the commercialization of research. I maintained a small but active sports practice that grew out of representing the athletic departments of those colleges and universities.
I have a BA from Northwestern University, a JD from Duke and a LLM (Taxation) from the University of Miami. My wife and I have grown two children.
