About Me

I write in the Irish Times on the convergence of media technologies and markets, and their cultural impact. I used to work at the European Union in their programme for research and development in advanced communications, was a senior research associate at the European Institute for the Media and have contributed to the Wall St Journal (Europe), the London Times, Long Range Planning and many more publications.

I was adviser to the Dutch Royaol Academy of Science on its digitisation programme, the European Justice Ministries are similarly prestigious clients. I consulted for Logica Strategy Consulting and its predecessor companies.

I write on al lasepcts of the convergence of communications media.
