I am a freelance technology writer and consultant based in Bristol in the SouthWest UK, with a focus on semiconductors, electronics and embedded technology.
I edit the Silicon SouthWest newsletter and am a contributor to technology newspapers and magazines around the world.
I am a former editor of Micro Technology Europe magazine and launch editor of Automotive Electronics magazine in 2005, and have been a consultant for the Digital Radio Development Bureau and digital TV equipment makers, and have written two market research reports on digital TV.
As a freelance writer, I write regularly for the range of professional magazines in the UK, and am a judge for the Cable & Satellite International awards, presenting the silicon innovation awards at the International Broadcast Conference each year.
