My former employers include 1) Infosys Technologies - www.infosys.com - which is one of the greatest creators of shareholder and employee wealth in India, one of India's leading and most respected software services companies, and has received many awards worldwide, not just for growth, revenue and profits, but also for corporate governance, and 2) Veritas Software - www.veritas.com - acquired by Symantec Corporation - www.symantec.com. Veritas was/is a leading U.S. software product company with many different enterprise software product categories, some of which are market leaders in their space.
Worked in both software development and management roles in both of those companies.
Have developed open source software - see http://www.dancingbison.com/products.html - which is hosted on SourceForge.net, and published technical articles on IBM developerWorks - http://www.ibm.com/developerworks, Packt Publishing - http://www.packtpub.com, and other sites.
Overall, I have many years of experience, in the software field, working on software development, project management and system administration (UNIX/Linux only, and some database administration), and in/for many different business domains.
